But along with the one Beenox are making for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, the WiiU, and the 3DS, there’s a unique one coming to iOS, Android, and, later on, Windows devices, too. I spoke to Gameloft’s Tatiana Nahai about what it took to bring Spidey and his super friends to smaller screens.

Originally released on the 3DS and Vita, the side-scrolling beat-’em-up Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate was generally welcomed with a yawn when it came out alongside the vastly superior Batman: Arkham Origins last year. Now Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate: Deluxe Edition brings the game to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, WiiU, and PC, and with it, many of the same problems that plagued the original versions.
While Marvel Comics have long made cartoons for kids, in recent years they’ve also been making animes for adults, with rather mixed result. The latest of these is Avengers Confidential: Black Widow & Punisher, a eighty-two minute movie being released directly on DVD, in a DVD/Blu-ray combo pack, and digitally.
Warner Brothers Interactive have announced that Batman: Arkham Knight — “Rocksteady Studios conclusion to the series” — will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC later this year.
At an event held at DC Comic’s offices in Burbank, California — fittingly, on a Wednesday — Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that the upcoming free-to-play, superhero MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena game) Infinite Crisis — which is being made by Turbine — will start its open beta (a.k.a., soft launch) on May 14th, and that there will also be a corresponding comic book series and line of action figures.
