Exclusive Interview: Lords Of The Fallen Executive Producer Tomasz Gop

With combat that requires you to be tactical, strategic, and careful, the upcoming third-person fantasy action game Lords Of The Fallen — which Namco Bandai will release October 28th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC — might seem like yet another Dark Souls wannabe. But in talking to executive producer Tomasz Gop from CI Games while trying my best to play it, it became clear that Lords Of The Fallen is trying to do something different…but not a lot different.

Destiny Review

Having all but defined the sci-fi first-person shooter genre with Halo, Bungie are now trying to redefine it with Destiny, which they call a “shared world shooter.” But while the game — which Activision has released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 — is far from perfect, especially if you’re not big on sharing, it does have some interesting new ideas, and is as engaging and fun as Bungie’s previous gun games.

The Walking Dead Table For Pinball FX 2 & Zen Pinball 2 Review

The Walking Dead adventure game by Telltale is arguably one of the most engaging adventure games of the last few years. But what would’ve made that emotionally gripping game even better is if there had been a metal ball flying around the whole time, knocking into things.

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Fenix Rage Executive Producer Ted Lange

After the success of the really difficult platformer Super Meat Boy, it’s no surprise that other game developers would follow suit. But while the upcoming Fenix Rage — which Green Lava is making for PCs, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 — may be tough, and is made of platforms, in talking to executive producer Ted Lange as I played the game, it seems that this isn’t just Exceptional Fish Girl.

Metro Redux Review

In recent months, there’s been a number of next-gen remakes of previous gen games that only upgrade the graphics, add in the add-ons, and that’s basically it (I’m looking at you, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and The Last Of Us Remastered). But with Metro Redux, 4A games are bringing truly improved versions of their post-apocalyptic sci-fi shooters Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

“Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition” Review

With endless and addictive action, the original version of the fantasy role-playing game Diablo III was already a great game. But with the new Diablo III Ultimate Evil Edition, Blizzard are not only bringing an expanded and improved version to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for the first time, but to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 as well.

Pinball FX2 For Xbox One Review

With the release of Pinball FX2 for Xbox One, Zen Studios have finally brought their pinball program to every game system that matters. But unlike other system transitions they’ve made recently, Pinball FX2 for Xbox One isn’t just a slightly better looking version of an earlier model.

Thoughts On The Destiny Beta

Last night, I spent a couple hours playing through the beta of Destiny, the upcoming sci-fi first-person shooter RPG that Bungie will release September 9th on the PlayStation 4 (which is what I played the beta on), PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. And while I found it to be an invigorating game that recalls what Bungie used to do in the Halo games, there were also some easily fix issues that made me think it could be even better.
