Some games are good, some games are bad. And then there’s the game on this list: the worst games I played in 2017.
For Honor
Developer: Ubisoft Montreal
Publisher: Ubisoft
Systems: Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC
The first time I played this game, I appreciated that you could not only aim where you swung your sword, but also had to perfectly place it to block incoming attacks as well. But after two hours of basically playing “Rock, Paper, Scissors,” while also dealing with other enemies who I’d cut down like they were blades of grass, I grew weary of this repetitive in-action game. And it just got more and more annoying the more I played.
SCORE: 5.0/10 (You can read my review here)
NieR Automata
Developer: PlatinumGames
Publisher: Square Enix
Systems: PlayStation 4, PC
While this started off as a really kick-ass hack & slash & shoot action game, it changed after the first level into a rote, deeply flawed, and ultimately dull open-world role-playing game. Ah well.
SCORE: 5.0/10 (You can read my review here)
Crash Of Cars
Developer: Not Doppler
Publisher: Not Doppler
Systems: iOS, Android
Take the hint this game’s generic name is sending you: This is a pedestrian car combat game with terrible controls and a lack of variety when it comes to its vehicles.
Crazy Taxi Gazillionaire
Developer: Demiurge Studios
Publisher: Sega
Systems: iOS, Android
Though it’s based on a silly but fun and arcadey racing game series, this mobile game went a different route and made you the guy who runs the cab company. Which, if this game is any indication, is boring and super easy and just a matter of tapping on a screen once on a while.
Agents Of Mayhem
Developer: Volition
Publisher: Deep Silver
Systems: Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC
While this third-person shooter is a spin-off of the Saints Row franchise, it’s not nearly as weird or as outrageous as the best Saints Row games — Saints Row The Third and Saints Row IV — and is instead rather bland and toothless.
SCORE: 6.0/10 (You can read my review here)
Danger Zone
Developer: Three Fields Entertainment
Publisher: Three Fields Entertainment
Systems: Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC
Like the “Crash” mode in some Burnout games, this has you driving a car into traffic in an attempt to cause enough damage to reach a monetary goal. But there’s a reason “Crash” was just a side mode in the Burnout games, and this has even less to it than that.
SCORE: 5.0/10 (You can read my review here)
Rogue Trooper Redux
Developer: Rebellion Developments/TickTock Games
Publisher: Rebellion Developments
Systems: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Switch
Though I was a working game journalist when the original version of this sci-fi shooter came out in 2006, I honestly don’t remember it. After playing this dull remake, I doubt I’ll remember it as well.
SCORE: 4.0/10 (You can read my review here)

Well i agree with most of it but you must be retard to put nier automata in 2017 worst game
Or I thought it was boring.
Doesn’t mean its one of the worst of 2017. You saying it’s boring means that you’re being subjective, not objective. That kinda means your judgment process is flawed. Delete your account.
Don’t pay attention to the drummers who keeps drumming on Nier Automata , i think this game is beyond overrated and overhyped just because it was made by PG , the only good thing about this game is the OST … generally the game is a TRASH Touhou / hacking crap that doesn’t live up to the hype whatsoever .
People are entitled to their opinion. I wish I liked Nier as much as other people do, but I didn’t. C’est la vie.
Even worse, this game was rated in the “Top 10 absolute best games of 2017″ earlier today” ? wtf? make up your little minds N4G.
Hard to care for someone’s opinion, when he puts one of the best games of the year on his list. Nier Automata is incredible.
Strangely this author‘s blog posts always get negative reactions from my side.
