Funko have announced that they will release a series of Game Of Thrones Mystery Mini action figures.
Though no release date was announced, Funko have said that there will be twenty-four different characters in this line of stylized, 2.5-inch tall figures, including various Starks, all three of the dragons, and other favorites from the HBO show.
As with all of their Mystery Minis, the Game Of Thrones ones will come in sealed boxes, so you won’t know if which character you got until you get home and tear open the box. They’re also not all available equally; for instance, the odds of getting Jon Snow or King Joffrey are 2/24 while Khal Drogo is 1/72.
Speaking of Game Of Thrones, HBO Home Video will release the third season of that show on DVD and in a DVD/Blu-ray combo pack on February 18th, with both versions set to include deleted and extended scenes, a dozen audio commentaries, a recap of the season called “A Gathering Storm,” a featurette on marriage’s role in the show called “The Politics Of Marriage,” a self-explanatory featurette called “Inside The Wildlings,” and featurettes on the new characters. In addition, the DVD/Blu-ray combo pack adds an in-episode guide with information about the locations and characters; a look at the mythology of Westeros called “Histories & Lore” and “The Rains of Castamere Unveiled: The Roots Of Westeros.”
