Insert Coin Clothing have announced that they will release items, including t-shirts and hoodies, inspired by the 1998 stealth action game Metal Gear Solid.
Included in the collection are a buttoned-down Snake/Foxhound shirt…
…a Shadow Moses hoodie…
…a Fox Hound patch…
…a Fox Hound t-shirt…
…a Psycho Mantis t-shirt…
..and my personal favorite, a Shadow Moses Self Storage t-shirt.
As you can gather from the images, the clothing is still in the prototype stage, but it is expected to be released this Spring, which each item expected to cost about what similar items run for on Insert Coin’s website (so probably around $64.00 for the button-down shirt, $33.50 for the tees, $61.00 for the hoodie, and $15.00 for the patch, depending on the exchange rate, and that’s not including shipping).
Though in the press release announcing this line, it did say, “This is the second part of our three-part initial [Metal Gear Solid] range, with a final collection to be revealed later in the year.”
As for the Metal Gear Solid games, the most recent installment, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, is currently slated to be released in 2015, though a prequel/prologue release called Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes came out lat year (my review of which you can read here).
