The Guinness World Records people — not to be confused with the Guinness Delicious Beer people — have announced that the Guinness World Records 2014 Gamers Edition has been released.
Included in this year’s volume are such achievements as “Largest Collection Of Video Games” (Michael Thomasson of Buffalo, New York: 10,607), “Longest Marathon On A Dance Video Game” (Carrie Swidecki of Bakersfield, California, Just Dance 4: 49 Hours, 3 Minutes, 22 Seconds), ”Highest Score On Angry Birds” (42,610,510), and ”Fastest Completion Of Batman: Arkham City (Sean “DarthKnight” Grayson: 2 Hours, 3 Minutes, 19 Seconds), the latter of which seems like it could also qualify for “Best Example Of Defeating The Purpose Of Playing A Video Game.”
The Guinness World Records 2014 Gamers Edition is currently available from Amazon for $8.44.
