Scream Factory have announced that Sam Raimi’s cult classic Darkman will be released on Blu-ray on February 18th.
Released in 1990, Darkman starred Liam Neeson as a scientist trying to invent synthetic skin. But when gangsters trash his lab, burning his face, he uses his invention in creative ways to get revenge.
Along with the movie, the Darkman: Collector’s Edition will include the original trailer and TV spots, a commentary by Director Of Photography Bill Pope, vintage interviews with Raimi and the film’s stars Neeson and Frances McDormand, a vintage making-of featurette, still galleries, and multiple new interviews with Raimi, Neeson, McDormand, Makeup Designer Tony Gardner, Production Designer Randy Ser, Art Director Philip Dagort, and costars Larry Drake, Danny Hicks, and Dan Bell.
In addition, if you pre-order the Darkman: Collector’s Edition directly from Scream Factory’s website, you’ll also receive an exclusive 18×24-inch poster of the new cover artwork.
The Darkman: Collector’s Edition is also available for pre-ordering from Amazon, who have it listed for $26.94.
