Gentle Giant have announced that they will release mini bust statues of Legolas from The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug, Wedge Antilles from Star Wars, and Zombie Venom from Marvel Comics at the end of 2014.
The Legolas one is 1/6 scale, stands 7.6-inches high, is made of polystone, is hand-painted, and was made using reference photos shot on the movie’s sets. It is also a limited edition, and will be numbered and sold with a matching certificate of authenticity. It will retail for $75.00.
Similarly, the Wedge Antilles mini bust — for which there is only the concept art at this time — will also be a numbered limited edition that comes with a matching certificate of authenticity. It is also 1/6 scale, made of polystone, will be hand-painted, and will include two different heads: one with his flight helmet, and one without. It will retail for $80.00.
Lastly, the Zombie Venom one is based on the Marvel Zombies comic books, and will stand 7-inches tall. Like the others, it’s a 1/6 scale statue, made from polystone, will be hand-painted, and will be numbered limited edition with a matching certificate of authenticity. Like the Wedge one, it will also retail for $80.00.
