HBO and Funko have announced that seven POP! Vinyl action figures based on characters from the HBO show Game Of Thrones will be released on January 15, with an eighth coming February 18th.
Included in the January series are Brienne Of Tarth (#13)…
…Joffrey Baratheon (#14)…
…Hodor (#15)…
…Drogon (#16)…
…Tywin Lannister (#17)…
…Ygritte (#18)…
…and Ghost (#19).
Then, in February, Funko will release one for Daenerys Targaryen (#24).
All of the figures will be available for around $12.50 each, depending on where you buy them.
Or exactly $12.50 if you get them at the HBO Shop in New York City (6th Avenue at 42nd Street) or online at HBO’s website.
February 18 almost marks the release of Game Of Thrones: The Complete Third Season on DVD and Blu-ray.
Along with the 10 episodes, both the DVD and DVD/Blu-ray combo pack will include deleted and extended scenes; a dozen audio commentaries; a recap of the season called “A Gathering Storm”; “The Politics Of Marriage,” a featurette on marriage’s role in the show; a self-explanatory featurette called “Inside The Wildlings” featurette; and featurettes on the new characters.
In addition, the DVD/Blu-ray combo pack adds an in-episode guide with information about the locations and characters; a look at the mythology of Westeros called “Histories & Lore” and “The Rains of Castamere Unveiled: The Roots Of Westeros.”
Game Of Thrones: The Complete Third Season is currently available for pre-ordering from Amazon, with the DVD listed at $39.99, and the DVD/Blu-ray combo pack for $55.99.
