Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced that the “Monty Python And The Holy Grail 40th Anniversary Edition” Blu-ray and Limited Edition Gift Set will be released on October 27th.
Along with the classic movie, and all of the extras from the previous Blu-ray edition, the “Monty Python And The Holy Grail 40th Anniversary Edition” Blu-ray will also include a new, self-explanatory featurette titled “Monty Python And The Holy Grail At The 2015 Tribeca Film Festival Q&A.”
In addition, a Limited Edition Gift Set version of the Blu-ray will come in a castle-shaped package, and will come with a working catapult and rubber farm animals.
As for those previously released extras, they include “Outtakes And Extended Scenes With Introduction By Terry Jones,” “Lost Animations With Introduction By Terry Gilliam,” “Scintillating Commentary by Terry Gilliam And Terry Jones And Even More Revealing Commentary By John Cleese, Eric Idle, And Michael Palin,” “Quest For The Holy Grail Locations With Michael Palin And Terry Jones,” “Lego Knights: The Knights Of The Round Table In LEGO,” “Special Japanese Version,” “How To Use Your Coconuts (An Educational Film),” “BBC Film Night On Location,” “Three Songs To Sing-Along,” a photo gallery, and the original theatrical trailer.
The “Monty Python And The Holy Grail 40th Anniversary Edition” Blu-ray is currently available for pre-ordering from Amazon for $19.99, while the Limited Edition Gift Set is listed for $59.99.
