Kotobukiya have announced that they’ll release a Wasp Bishoujo statue this September. The collectible will depict The Avenger in her classic black & gold suit.
Due out in September, the Wasp Bishoujo statue will be 10.7-inches tall, and was designed by Shunya Yamashita, a Japanese illustrator and character designer who’s designed previous Bishoujo statues of Jubilee, Kitty Pryde, and Elektra.
The Wasp Bishoujo statue will retail for $69.99.
The codename for Janet Van Dyne, Wasp is one of the founding member of The Avengers, though she isn’t in either of The Avengers movies. She was created by Jack Kirby and Stan Lee, and first appeared in Tales To Astonish #44, which came out in June of 1963, and is currently available in the hardcover collection Marvel Masterworks: Atlas Era Tales To Astonish Volume 4.
