Lionsgate have announced that John Wick — the action revenge flick starring Keanu Reeves — will be released as a Blu-ray combo pack, on DVD, and digitally on February 3rd.
In John Wick, Reeves (the Matrix movies) plays a guy mourning the death of his wife, a process that includes taking care of a puppy she arranged to have sent to him after she passes away. But after he rebuffs a chance to sell his vintage car to a guy, the prospective buyer comes a calling, and not only beats the crap out of John, and steals his car, but he kills the dog as well. Little does the man know that Mr. Wick isn’t just some guy….
Besides Reeves, John Wick also stars Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man), John Leguizamo (The Lincoln Lawyer), Michael Nyqvist (Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol), Alfie Allen (Game Of Thrones), Adrianne Palicki (G.I. Joe: Retaliation), Bridget Moynahan (I, Robot), and Ian McShane (Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides).
The Blu-ray/DVD combo pack and digital HD versions of John Wick will include six making-of featurettes: “Don’t F*#% With John Wick,” “Calling In The Cavalry,” “Destiny Of A Collective,” “Assassin’s Code,” “Red Circle,” and “NYC Noir.”
In addition, the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack will also feature commentary by director Chad Stahelski and producer David Leitch.
There are no extras on the DVD or SD digital editions.
John Wick is currently available for pre-ordering from Amazon, with the Blu-ray/DCD combo pack listed for $24.96, the DVD for $14.96, the HD digital edition for $14.99, and the SD digital edition for $12.99.
