Universal Studios Home Entertainment have announced that The World’s End will be released digitally, on DVD, and in a DVD/Blu-ray combo pack on November 19, as will The Ultimate Three Flavors Cornetto Trilogy Blu-ray, which will add Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz, the two previous movies that were directed by Edgar Wright, co-written by Wright and Simon Pegg, and starred Pegg and Nick Frost.
Along with the film, all three versions of The World’s End will include a commentary by Wright and Pegg, as well as the self-explanatory featurette “Completing The Golden Mile: The Making Of The World’s End.”
In addition, the DVD/Blu-ray combo pack will also include deleted and alternate scenes, outtakes, rehearsal footage, hair and make-up tests, behind-the-scenes footage of the stunts, a breakdown of the special effects, a film montage that highlights the hints and hidden clues in the movie, a mash-up of Pegg’s best moments in the film, a featurette on Pegg’s character, and a digital copy of the movie.
As for the Cornetto Trilogy Blu-ray, it will feature interactive screenplays for Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World’s End that are exclusive to this collection.
Both versions of The World’s End are currently available for pre-ordering from Amazon, with the DVD retailing for $19.99, the Blu-ray for $23.99, but the Cornetto Trilogy Blu-ray has not been listed yet.
