Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be available on digital HD on August 5th, and then on DVD, as a DVD/Blu-ray combo pack, a 3D DVD/Blu-ray combo pack, and a collector’s edition DVD/Blu-ray combo pack on August 19th.
Along with the movie, all of the physical versions will include a commentary by director Marc Webb, four deleted scenes with optional commentary by Webb, a digital copy of the film, and the music video for Alicia Keys’ “It’s On Again.”
In addition, the DVD/Blu-ray combo packs will also include nine additional deleted scenes, also with optional commentary by Webb, as well as “The Wages Of Heroism: Making The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” while DVD will have an exclusive PDA for the Worldwide Orphans Foundation that features The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star Andrew Garfield.
Amazon currently has all three versions available for pre-ordering, with the DVD listed for $17.99, the DVD/Blu-ray combo pack for $24.99, and the 3D DVD/Blu-ray combo pack for $27.99.
In addition, Amazon also has an exclusive version of the DVD/Blu-ray combo pack, which comes housed in a replica of Electro’s head, for $99.99.
