Gentle Giant have announced that they will release two new Star Wars action figures in the fourth quarter of 2014.
The first will be a limited edition statue of Han Solo wearing a Stormtrooper outfit like he did in 1977’s Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope.
The statue comes with a removable helmet, and can be posed to show Han holding his weapon…
…or leaning on it all sauve-like.
Though no dimensions were announced, Gentle Giant did say each of these 1:6-scale statues would be made of polystone, each statue will be hand-painted, will come with a certificate of authenticity, and will sell for $265.00.
Around the same time, Gentle Giant will release another in their series of 12-inch replicas of the original Kenner action figures. This time, it’s for Leia in the outfit she wore while on Hoth in 1980’s Star Wars: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. And when she attended the Academy Awards in 1981.
As with all of the Kenner Jumbo Figures, the Leia (Hoth Outfit) one was digitally scanned for an original 3 3/4-inch tall figure, and is fully-articulated and comes with her blaster.
This collectible also comes with a reproduction of the original packaging, though with a resealable shell so you can have her give Stormtrooper Han Solo a reassuring kiss.
The Leaia (Hoth Outfit) Kenner Jumbo Figure will be available for $79.95.
As always, you can find more information on these and other cool collectibles at Gentle Giant’s website.
