Studio Ghibli and Disney Home Entertainment have announced that three of the former studio’s movies — Porco Rosso, Pom Poko, and Tales From Earthsea — will be released on Blu-ray on February 3rd, 2015.

Universal Home Video have announced that Lucy — the action flick directed by Luc Besson (The Professional) that starred Scarlett Johansson (The Avengers) — will be released on Digital HD on January 20th, and then as a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack and on DVD on January 20th.
In the pantheon of Star Wars mistakes, few rank as high as midi-chlorians and making Jar Jar such a goofball. But cancelling the Star Wars The Clone Wars cartoon, or at least not letting it finish out its last season, ranks a close third. Thankfully, we at least have some of that last season in the form of Star Wars The Clone Wars The Lost Missions, which LucasFilm and Disney Home Video have released on Blu-ray and DVD.

Well Go USA have announced that Dead Snow 2 Red Vs Dead — the sequel to the 2009 Nazi zombie horror movie Dead Snow — will be released on Collector’s Edition Blu-ray and DVD on December 9th.
Given that they make the show out of old toys and stop-motion animation, you’d think the good people behind Robot Chicken would want the home version to be presented in the highest definition. Which is why it’s so bizarre that the Robot Chicken DC Comics Special 2 Villains In Paradise is only available on DVD and not Blu-ray. Though considering that’s the biggest complaint about this collection….
