Comedy Central and Paramount Home Video have announced that South Park: The Complete Seventeenth Season will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on September 16th.
Along with the ten episodes, both the Blu-ray and DVD of South Park: The Complete Seventeenth Season will include mini commentaries by co-creator/writer/director/voice actor Trey Parker and co-creator/writer/voice actor Matt Stone, as well as deleted scene.
In addition, the Blu-ray and DVD of South Park: The Complete Seventeenth Season will also include something called “#SocialCommentary,” which sounds like it’s text commentaries by fans that appeared on Twitter, but I could be wrong. I certainly hope I’m wrong, that just sounds awful.
South Park: The Complete Seventeenth Season is currently available for pre-ordering from Amazon, with the Blu-ray listed for $35.98 and the DVD for $26.98.
