Anchor Bay and Scream Factory have announced that they will release both a regular and a deluxe edition of Halloween The Complete Collection on Blu-ray on September 23rd.
The regular, ten disc edition of Halloween The Complete Collection contains the 1978 original movie, 1981’s Halloween II, 1982’s Halloween III: Season Of The Witch, 1988’s Halloween 4: The Return Of Michael Meyers, 1989’s Halloween 5: The Revenge Of Michael Myers, 1995’s Halloween: The Curse Of Michael Myers, 1998’s Halloween H2O: 20 Years Later, 2002’s Halloween: Ressurection, 2007’s reboot Halloween, and the sequel to the reboot, 2009’s Halloween 2.
It will also include “select bonus features,” though the press release did not detail what those would be.
Along with the regular edition, there will also be a fifteen disc version called Halloween The Complete Collection Deluxe Edition, which has all of the above plus the rare TV version of the original Halloween, a previously unreleased producers cut of Halloween: The Curse Of Michael Myers, the TV version of Halloween II, and the unrated versions of the reboot and its sequel, while the original version of Halloween in this box will also include the original mono audio track.
The Deluxe Edition will also include a limited edition forty page book penned by Fangoria‘s Michael Gingold, and will have new art on the box, while each film will come in its own case with the original theatrical one sheet as the cover art.
Both editions of Halloween The Complete Collection are currently available for pre-ordering from Amazon, and while the prices aren’t listed yet, Anchor Bay and Scream Factory say the regular edition will be $129.99, while the Deluxe Edition will be $169.99.
