Universal Home Video that A Million Ways To Die In The West, the live-action Western comedy from Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, will be released on Blu-ray/DVD combo pack and DVD on October 7th, and digitally on September 9th.
Written and directed by MacFarlane, A Million Ways To Die In The West stars Charlize Theron (Prometheus), Liam Neeson (Taken), Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), Giovanni Ribisi (Ted), Sarah Silverman (Wreck-It Ralph), and, of course, MacFarlane is the most outrageous Western comedy since Blazing Saddles.
Though it might also be the only Western comedy since Blazing Saddles. But whatever.
Along with the movie, both the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack and DVD of A Million Ways To Die In The West will include a gag reel, a making-of featurette on the locations called “A Fistful Of Dirt…In Your Mouth,” and a commentary by MacFarlane, actor Charlize Theron, and co-writers/executive producers Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild.
In addition, the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack of A Million Ways To Die In The West will add deleted, extended, and alternate scenes, including an alternate ending; a featurette on the movie’s cameo’s called “The Good, The Bad, And The Increasingly Decreasing Population”; a making-of featurette called “Once Upon A Time In A Different West”; a digital copy of the movie; and an uncensored version of the aforementioned commentary.
A Million Ways To Die In The West is currently available from Amazon for pre-ordering, with the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack listed for $22.99, while DVD is $18.99.
