Gentle Giant have announced that the next Jumbo Star Wars Kenner Figure replica will be Wicket, the Ewok who rescued Princess Leia in 1983’s Star Wars: Episode VI: The Return Of The Jedi. It will be available next Spring, but is now available for pre-ordering.
Wicket Wystri Warrick — Wicket if you’re nasty — was played by actor Warwick Davis in the movie, a role he reprised in the 1984 TV movie Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure and again in the 1985 TV movie Ewoks: The Battle For Endor. The character has since appeared in numerous comic books and children’s books.
Standing at 6.125-inch tall, this 1/6 scale replica was made from a digital scan of an original, mint edition, Kenner action figure. Like the original, this replica comes with his cowl and staff, and in a reproduction of the original packaging, albeit a version that pops open so you can play with your new toy.
Listed for $80.00, this collectible will be available for pre-ordering from this page on Gentle Giant’s website until July 15th.
